Assessment Edit
My Assessment Edits specifically focus on showing what’s working for the book and what needs adjusting. For both fiction and non-fiction, these edits include:
A 2-4 page editorial letter addressing the book's big picture elements regarding structure, plot, characters / narration, themes, voice, and pacing, with suggestions on how you might fix things (rather than simply pointing out what’s wrong).
A 1/2 hour zoom call (if desired) once everything’s sent back to you to help with brainstorming, ask questions, clarify, etc.
I charge $300 up front and the rest upon completion before the editorial letter is sent your way.
Fee is $600 for up to 90k words, $700k for 91k-100k words, $900 for 101k-120k words, $1200 for 121k-140k words, and $1500 for 141k-200k words.
